Availability
When the internet is restricted, Zarban keeps working
The Zarban protocol runs on Arbitrum, not on our servers. Even if Zarban's interface is unreachable, your debt position and assets stay live on-chain and can be managed from any other interface.
Your assets are never in Zarban's hands
Your position lives on-chain, independent of our site
Manageable from any Arbitrum-compatible wallet or interface
Costs
Only the fee you can see
Before you borrow, you know exactly what you pay — and what is never asked of you.
No hidden fees
The only cost is the annual rate shown in the calculator at the top of this page. No origination fee, no late fee, no charge for repaying early.
No identity checks
No account, no ID documents, no waiting for approval. Your wallet is your account, and its keys stay with you.
No subscription
No monthly membership, no minimum spend, no credit ceiling. Borrow whenever you want and settle whenever you want.
From request to cash in a few clicks
Lock your collateral and the loan lands in your wallet the same moment. No guarantor, no cheque, no queue, and nobody deciding whether you qualify.

How we work
Build something we would trust with our own money — what gets drawn on the whiteboard is what runs on-chain.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to verify my identity to use Zarban?
No. Using Zarban requires no identity verification, and your identity stays fully private. Zarban operates on-chain with no central authority. The only information Zarban receives is your public wallet address, used solely for blockchain interactions.
How reliable is Zarban's system?
Zarban's execution and stability are guaranteed by the Arbitrum network. As long as Arbitrum is running, Zarban's smart contracts behave as expected and protect user funds and system debt.
Where is the money I put into Zarban stored?
Your deposit is recorded on the blockchain through smart contracts. Their code is public, open source and reviewed, and it lets you request a withdrawal at any time without anyone's approval. Because the blockchain is decentralised and the contracts cannot be tampered with, you can withdraw your deposit whenever you hold no debt or your health factor is adequate.
Can my wallet or assets be frozen?
No. Zarban asks permission to your wallet for every transaction, and that access ends the moment you leave the site. Your assets sit in smart contracts, and no person or entity can touch them; even liquidation is carried out by the contracts themselves.
Is there a Zarban mobile app?
Zarban's mobile app is coming soon. For now, the service is available through the website only.
Do I need a guarantor to borrow on Zarban?
No. You need no guarantor to borrow on Zarban, but collateral is required.
How do I connect my wallet to Zarban?
Click "Connect Wallet" at the top of the page, pick a supported wallet such as MetaMask or Trust Wallet, and confirm the connection. If the network is already added to your wallet, simply approve the network-switch request; otherwise add the network address manually. Once connected, part of your wallet address appears at the top of the site. Zarban never accesses your private wallet data — only your public address is connected.
Can I use several different assets as collateral?
Yes. You can combine multiple tokens into one collateral position; your health factor is then calculated across the total.
Can ZAR be used as collateral?
No. The assets that can be used as collateral on Zarban are listed in the Deposit & Loan section.
Can I lend ZAR?
Yes. You can deposit ZAR on Zarban, lend it to others and earn yield on it.
